The firm Inc. is an acronym for First Independent Residential Mortgage, Inc.

Founded in 1995 by owners, Bruce and Anne McClatchey, The firm is a unique Mortgage Brokerage.  They truly specialize in personal service.  When possible, Loan Originators from The firm will go to the borrower's home or office to assist with the Mortgage Loan Application paperwork.  In addition, evening and weekend appointments are welcome in person, when possible, by telephone, fax or E-Mail.

This provides The firm's borrowers the opportunity to schedule appointments at their convenience for both time and location, allowing borrowers to have as much time as needed to ask questions and review all loan options available.

Previous to 1995, Bruce McClatchey was Vice President in charge of Mortgage Lending in an Omaha Bank.  Bruce started his banking career in 1974 while attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.  In 1976, after obtaining his Bachelor's Degree from UN-L in Business Administration, he started working full time as a Mortgage Loan Officer.  Eventually moving into training new Mortgage Loan Officers and then later into Management, Bruce had an opportunity to work with a number of Banking institutions in the Lincoln and Omaha area.

Prior to 1995, Anne McClatchey was a Mortgage Loan Underwriter for a number of Mortgage Lending Institutions.  Starting her career in 1981 as a Mortgage Loan Processor, she eventually was promoted to a Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Bruce and Anne McClatchey are committed Christians, stating that the success of their Mortgage Loan Brokerage business is solely by the Grace of God.
